CROSS COUNTRY

Congratulations to Layne (Rm 15), Kokoro (Rm 5), Brody (Rm 12) and Adam (Rm 12) who came in the Top 10 in their respective year group at InterZone Cross Country on Tuesday the 13th of June. They will compete for Lower Hutt Primary Schools Sports Association at the Regional event in Masterton.

Year 4 Boys - Layne Hennig - 2nd place
Year 5 Boys - Brody Milburn - 5th place
Year 6 Boys - Adam Larkin - 1st place
Year 8 Girls - Kokoro Imazu - 6th place

NETBALL

Congratulations to the following students who were successful in being selected for the Hutt Valley Netball Player Development Programme for year 7 and year 8. Those selected participate in 3 development sessions and finish with a tournament.  Well done to:

Year 8 - Lucy Papps, Mackenzie Gwerder and Olivia Turner

BASKETBALL

Well done to all Maungaraki Basketball teams for Term 2. There is another round of games starting in Term 3 for those same teams. All fees for Term 3 Basketball are the same as Term 2 and have been added for all current players. Check in with your coaches regarding practice and game times in Term 3. 

Thank you to all coaches for taking the time out to practise and be there for games - we cannot go forward without you. We have managed to enter two Y1/2 teams for Term 3. If your Y1/2 child is interested in playing in Term 3, please contact Sam Blandford on sam.blandford@maungaraki.school.nz, there may be spaces available.
