PRINCIPAL'S REPORT

Kia ora e te whānau.

Maungaraki School has been alive with activities over the past month, and right throughout the year. We would like to thank you for your support in making these opportunities a possibility for your children. A huge thank you to the many volunteers who give up their time to help, whether on a school trip, with a sports team, in the library or any number of ways. This help is crucial to us being able to provide such a rich curriculum.

School donations and activity fees also play a vital role in providing our students with extra opportunities that enrich their learning and experiences. Without these contributions, many of these activities would not be possible and our school would not be the vibrant learning hub it is.

With these donations we are able to have experiences beyond the classroom.  This term alone, your support has enabled us to bring Life Education to all our students, have a trip to the zoo (and sleepover), host Youth Town, visit Zealandia, and help our Sports Leaders enhance their leadership skills through Ignite Sport.

If you have yet to make a school donation, we would greatly appreciate it. As with volunteers, every little bit counts.
