Mayfield School provides safe and reliable bus transport for eligible students within our transport entitlement zone, with clear procedures to ensure every journey is well-managed and supported.

Eligibility

We operate three bus runs in our transport entitlement zone. Please contact the office to discuss options for student pick ups. All schools have transport entitlement zones, and these need to be adhered by all schools. If you live outside our TEZ zone, it will require you to travel to the nearest bus stop within our TEZ.

Enrolment & Bus Assignment

After your child enrols at Mayfield School, parents are to make contact with our office admin and principal. They will determine if your child is eligible to travel by bus and will indicate which bus and bus driver your child will be assigned to and an approximate time when the bus will pick up your child(ren) and when they will be dropped off at the assigned stop.

Safety Requirements

Children are given high-vis vests which they are required to wear whenever they travel by bus. These are compulsory for the safety of our students and if a child doesn’t wear their vest, they may be refused a ride on the bus.

Bus Operations

The Ritchies company is responsible for all issues involved in your child’s journey by bus. Bus drivers or the school will send a text message out if the bus is running late or is cancelled.
