Mt Hutt have made changes to how lessons and ski passes are purchased, which is now done completely online through their website. See information below about all the changes!

NOTE:

• Ski Club is an optional activity that is run by My Hutt Ski Field in collaboration with local schools and families. Children not attending ski club will go to school as per usual on club days.
• Parents MUST transport and supervise their child (or organise with another parent to supervise their child) before, between and after lessons while up the mountain. A teacher will also be present while up the mountain to oversee each day.
• The full cost of ski club is paid by the parents NOT the school
• Ski Club is open to children 5-15 years old.

Ski Lift Passes

ALL lift passes must be purchased through the Mt Hutt Ski field website. Local school students get a discount through the local school pass, bringing the price to $139 per child up to year 8. This discount is only available to purchase until Friday 31st May 2024, after which point, you will need to buy a full price lift pass for your child. This pass is a season pass and can be used separately to the Ski Club lessons.

Ski Club Lessons

In previous years, students have signed up to Ski Club Lessons through the school, this has changed for 2024. The local school programme for 2024 is now available to purchase for parents online here: Mt Hutt Local School Programme - Elevate. Ski Club lessons are $220 (for all three days)

Programme Dates: (Children are expected to attend all three days)

• Tuesday 23rd July
• Thursday 25th July
• Tuesday 30th July
• Tuesday 6 August (back up day)

Lesson Times:

9am - 11:30am and 12:30pm - 2:30pm (Children are expected to attend both sessions each day)

• Equipment (skis/snowboard, boots, poles) and helmets are included in the programme if required.
• Weather contingency day: Tuesday 6th of August
• Lift passes are not included in the cost of the programme, participants can purchase a local school season pass here.

NOTE: Total cost of ski club is $359 (local school lift pass + lessons)

We will be holding a ski club meeting for parents of ALL children who will be opting to take part in ski club this year. This is at 3pm on the 4th of June.
