Well done to our two amazing EPro8 teams, you have made us proud!

Last week we had a team of Year 5/6 and a team of Year 7/8 represent our school at the Mid Canterbury EPro8 competition. The teams had a choice of four challenges to work on, and had three hours to complete as much of the build as they could. Points are earned by completing stages of the build and having it checked off by Kelvin the Event Manager. 

Both of our teams chose to build a roller coaster, with a track running around the outside of the structure for a ball to roll down. Once the ball was at the bottom, they had to make an electronic elevator to lift the ball back to the top of the roller coaster. 

Our Year 5/6 team came 3rd tied and has qualified to go through to the next round of the competition next term! Well done Elah, Ty, Ash and Cedie!

The Year 7/8 team put in an amazing effort and came in 4th tied! Well done Andrea, Andre, Jahziah and Saskia!
