More resources added: Listening to Families
In June I shared a newsletter about the resource: Listening to Families. In this newsletter I am sharing the new resources that have been added to this fantastic website. I am also signalling, as we head towards the end of the year, that this resource could be valuable over the holiday period when, as a parent, you may need to access useful information and support.
Listening to Families is a series of free video resources that answer real, everyday questions about health challenges facing our community, particularly our children, young people and their whānau. These can be accessed via the website: Listening to Families or via YouTube: YouTube: Listeningtofamilies
I have personally found this website to be very useful as you can hear from experts, but you also hear about the experiences of other parents and families and gain insight and understanding from these shared experiences. I also appreciate that the resources are shared in a series of short videos. This means that I can look at one when I have a moment, and I can move onto the next one when I am ready.
If you have any questions about this resource or any of the above topics please contact me to talk about this further.
New topics:
Anxiety - adolescents
Eating Challenges
Sensory processing
