A fantastic start to our year with a Mihi Whakatau welcome to Medbury.

On the first day of Term 1 we welcomed the new boys and staff (Manuhiri) to Medbury School with a traditional Māori welcome. This morning's Mihi Whakatau featured speeches from staff and students, a haka powhiri from the Medbury Kapa Haka group, and a whole school Waiata 'He Honore'.
