We have a very busy week ahead with a few changes as well as exciting activities...

Next week all three of us will be on CRT - 

Monday - Hannah

Tuesday - Nicky

Friday - Tania

During these times Wayne Eddy will be in the pod. Also, Tania will be out on Tuesday and Wednesday. Jane Goldsmid will be in Rm17 for these days.

Food for Thought 

We will have three sessions next week. As a part of this programme we will be heading to Ilam New World on Thursday.  During this visit we will need parent helpers (4 parents per whānau group). A notice will be coming home about this. If you are able to help, you will have a slip to fill in and return to school. 

There will be some filming from the programme Seven Sharp on Wednesday and Thursday for Ōtakaro Whānau group (Miss Hebberd's class). Again, a permission slip will be coming home for parents to consent to their child being filmed for this. 

Learning next week: The majority of our learning will be in whānau groups next week due to our programme changing with Food for Thought and the teachers being on CRT.  Your child will still be learning core curriculum areas, but they will be in different groupings. Unfortunately Term 4 is a very busy term with lots of learning opportunities outside our routine. We need to be flexible in our programme as these are great opportunities for the children.

School Photos

We are due to have our school photos on Thursday and Friday next week. Please make sure children are in correct uniform.

Art Gallery Trip

We will need 4 parent helpers per whānau group. A notice will come home next week for this.

Week 3 - Tuesday 25th October for Rooms 18 (am) and 19 (pm)

Week 4 - Tuesday 1st November for Room 17 (am)

It seems a long way away, but we will be needing some parent help for our Beach Education day in Week 9. If you are able to help out it would be appreciated if you to put this in your diary now. A notice will come out later in the term for this.
