Final results, 2017 AMC Mathematics Competition.

The AMC Competition is different to the ICAS Mathematics in that it offers a more difficult challenge. As a result the certificates are distributed differently to the ICAS.

This year, we would like to offer special recognition to Ethan N., for his achievement in getting a Prize in this competition. We had a number of students who were only one mark away from getting an HD - next year, team!

Cutoffs:

Prize (0.3%) High Distinction (top 3%), Distinction (next 17%)

Credit (next 35%).

A Proficiency in Mathematical Skills and Problem-Solving is also awarded to other participants. This Certificate is awarded to a student who has not received a Credit (or higher) certificate, but who has nonetheless received a satisfactory score indicating satisfactory competence at mathematics and problem solving with mathematics.
