Reflection: Merrin has been a hectic ride to remember. When I first arrived I was very nervous about making friends and I thought I would have none...and I was right, only for the first few weeks though!
My first two weeks at Merrin were a little weird, until I met a great group of girls that took me in and treated me like I had known them forever! Yr 7 was a funny year, it was a confusing year and everyone had A LOT of drama. My first friendship was created with an argument, but we're really close friends now.
I have had so many great memories in Year 8 and have gotten to know my class more and found out they are actually really great people. One of my favourite memories was camp, although we barely got any sleep we had a lot of laughs. My favourite subject is PE with Mr Barr because I could find a laugh in anything he did, even if it wasn't funny, especially when the bottom T-shirt button came undone and everything was unleashed....
Thank you to all the teachers that helped me when times got hard, And when I struggled with my learning everyone was there to support me. There have been heaps of ups and downs but it was all worth it in the end!
Overall Merrin School is filled with amazing students and teachers and I'm going to miss it.
