My Merrin Memories

What are the highlights of your time at Merrin School?

Some of the highlights at Merrin School would be when I was hanging out with my friends and playing fun games together. Another would be when we went out on day trips. And one of the places we went to was Sumner Beach. At Sumner Beach, we played lots of different beach games, and learnt how to surf. My last and most favourite memory would be when I had the opportunity to go to Orton Bradly and go abseiling. Because we were there for most of the day, and we did lots of fun things, and we even got to see a great view after we climbed up to our destination- the top of the mountain.

My Heroes

Who has made an impression on you - family, school, friends, famous people…?

How/what have they done to become your hero?

My heroes are my parents, and Mrs Bargh, because they helped me the most during the time when I started at Merrin School. My parents kept helping me become better than I already am, and never stopped believing that I could do things that I didn’t know I could. And I look up to Mrs Bargh because when I started Merrin at Year One, Mrs Bargh was really supportive of me and was very patient with me learning english.

My Jams

What are your favourite theme songs or favourite songs? Why?

I don’t listen to that many songs, so I don’t really have a favourite song.

My Ultimate Future Self

Explain your ideal self in 5, 10, 50 years time. Consider career, family, friends, location…

In 5 years time, I would still be in high school, and would still be studying for a good university. In 10 years time, I would be 23, and at that time, I would have finished university, and probably trying to find a job, or already have one, but I most likely would have moved to a different country. And in 50 years time, I would be 63, and most likely retired already.

My Favourite Quote

A short quote or saying that highlights something important to you. Justify.

There are multiple quotes I like, but my most favourite quote would most likely be, ‘Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.’ This is because it helped me become more confident in myself, and it also helped me start sharing my own opinions and ideas.

My Wrap Up...

How would you like to be remembered at Merrin School? Other thoughts?

I hope people at Merrin remember me for/because...

Merrin School helped me become better, and has taught me a lot, and I hope in the future, students at Merrin will remember me, and know who I am, and maybe even look up to me. But I want to be remembered as a kind, loyal, and supportive person.
