Two nine year old students, accompanied by their Mothers, have been at Merrin School for the last 2 weeks.

These girls, Cherry and Apple, are from the city of Xinjin, a city in the south of China, not far from Hong Kong. While they have been here they have been hosted by Ms Shah and her class in Room 15. Both girls have thoroughly enjoyed being in a classroom in New Zealand and they have spoken about how different it is to their classroom in China.
