The Amazing Universal Solvent Called Water.

Siobhan van der Werk - February 18, 2021

In team 3 & 4 we are learning about the unusual and unique properties of water as a part of our science this term.

It has been a lot of fun experimenting to find out about Surface Tension, Cohesion and Adhesion and we are learning about the three states of water which are Solid, Liquid and Gas.

The following was written by Frankie McAleer Room 19, Year 3.          We got to measure and mix salt into water, we floated pieces of carrot in salt water and fresh-water. My favourite part was adding red ice into a cup of saltwater and freshwater so we could watch how fast the red dye mixed through the water.
