In Week 2, we went to South New Brighton Surf Club for our beach education day.

The day began with a bus trip our to the surf club. We all went inside the surf club to meet Harry, Sol and Rachael (Surf Life Savers)

The first thing we learned about was water safety. We went over some keys rules about how to keep safe. Once we were familiar with these rules we got into groups and had to role play one of them. 

Morning tea was spent outside on the grass before we went back inside to learn about how to be sun smart. 

After all of that learning, we went outside to play some games on the beach and build some sandcastles.

Once we finished lunch, we were getting dressed to get into the water for some fun in the surf.

Before we knew it, the day was coming to an end and we were loaded on the bus to return back to school.
