The CPSS Athletics event took place on Wednesday 05 December. The new Nga Puna Wai stadium certainly didn't disappoint and neither did our athletes.

Congratulations to Jakim, George N, Anahera, Krystal, Juliet, Trinity, Penny D, Keisha W and Neela R who represented Merrin School and the North West Zone at this event.  The group included our biggest number of sprinters yet - 6!

It was a fantastic day at the brand new Nga Puna Wai Athletic Stadium in Halswell.  All our athletes competed extremely well against the best primary school athletes Central Canterbury has to offer.  

Special mention to Neela who placed 4th in her Year 5 Girls Long Jump event - way to go Neela!
