Cycling in Christchurch has never been safer or easier, with over 60km of cycleways across the city, you can go all the way from Avonhead to the Central City, and even to Sumner Beach! The cycleways are completely separated from the road, with designated bike crossings and clear markings making the pathways easy to navigate! In my experience, the paths are actually faster than driving into the CBD, and you can stay active too!
