Hanmer Springs Hot pools
Last week I went to camp! My favourite part was definitely the Hanmer Springs hot pools. I went with my friends Marcus, Cooper, Henry, Haziq, Bobby, Luciano, Jakim, Kyan and Blake. When the teacher said “go now” I rushed in excitement saying “oh yeah”! I felt like I was Usain Bolt but a walking version. I took off my black shirt and my black nike scuffs/ flip flops/ slippers/ slides.
It was time. I was ready. I speed walked to the mini slide and climbed up the tiny ladder. I slid down and fell to the clear chlorine water. Next I went to the hydroslide - the pitch black one! I was screaming like a teenage girl. While that was happening, I banged my head to the side of the slide and yelled “Oh gosh - ouch”. When I saw the bright light, I sighed in relief and said “I'm coming home”. I dropped and hit the cold water.
Next was the Superbowl. Haziq and I waited, and waited and waited until it was our turn. When it was our turn we hoped in our double inflatable blue tube. It was time to ride!
When the signal light turned green, we pushed as hard as we could and went zooming around the bowl in circular motion. Eventually we slid through the hole and made it out the other end.
That was the BEST experience of my life yet!
