A new opportunity has arisen for our Year 5/6 and Year 7/8 students to compete at the CPSS Hip Hop competition. Our Year 7/8 team is being coached by former Merrin student Matt Cornere.

This year, we are promoting the introduction of our Hip Hop programme at Merrin School. Already, we have former student Matt Cornere who has put his hand up to coach the Year 7/8 team. Trials for this will be held Friday 1 April in Room 9 from 3.30pm to 4.30pm. Matt is an established dancer with experience in a variety of dance disciplines. 

We do require a coach for our Year 5/6 team so that we can have a trial and select a team to compete. If you are interested or know of someone who might be interested please contact Matua Peri - perimarks@merrin.school.nz.
