The team from Canterbury Rams are working alongside students this term to teach the fundamental skills of basketball as well as growing a love for the sport. Weekly coaching sessions will focus on developing the following important skills:

Movement Skills - agility, balance, coordination, running, jumping, sliding, passing, catching, dribbling, landing, skipping.

Thinking Skills - enjoyment, confidence, concentration, goals, social support, competition management.

Basketball Skills - ball handling, dribbling, passing, catching, shooting, offence, defence.

Life Skills - leadership, responsibility, self-reliance, trust, communication, self-belief, teamwork, fair play.

We are looking forward to seeing our students grow in their basketball confidence and ability over the term.
