Muslims around the world were celebrating the Eid al-Adha religious holiday on Monday 12 August, which in Arabic literally means, the "festival of the sacrifice". Rana (Yousef's mum) came in and explained to the children about this celebration. Eid al-Adha is a time to celebrate with your family. As most of their family are overseas, Rana said that Merrin is her new family and she wanted to share the celebration with us.
