MUSIC:

Senior Choir: all students in years 5-8 are welcome to join Senior Choir, which will be held on Friday afternoons, 1.30 - 2.15 pm. See/email Miss Revell if you're keen and missed out on the sign-ups.

Chorale: this is an auditioned choir for singers who have good intonation and are able to sustain a harmony part. Rehearsals will be held on Fridays, 2.15 - 3.00 pm. See/email Miss Revell if you're keen and missed out on the auditions.

Music lessons: please read the recent Hail article for more information.

Rock Band: students in years 5-8, see/email Miss Revell if you are interested in trying out for the Merrin Rock Band.

Kapa Haka: all students in years 5-8 are welcome to join Kapa Haka. Rehearsals will take place on Friday mornings after morning tea. 

Orchestra: we're very lucky to have Susan Dollin leading/conducting Merrin Orchestra in 2021. Orchestra rehearsals will take place on Thursday lunchtimes, starting later in term one - watch this space! Let Miss Revell know if you would like to join Orchestra.

DRAMA:

Drama and Theatresports Club: All students in years 5-8 are welcome to sign up for the Drama and Theatresports Club which will take place on Tuesdays, 3.10 - 4.00 pm, starting week 4. If the club is over-subscribed then it will operate on a first-come-first-served basis. Email Miss Revell if you are keen and have not yet signed up.

PERFORMING ARTS: All students in years 5-8 will take part in an intensive performing arts programme at some point during 2021. Students will receive 9 hours tuition over 3 weeks in either dance, drama or music.

Students in years 1-4 will participate in performing arts lessons and weekly singing sessions delivered by a specialist.

SCHOOL PRODUCTION: This year we'll be putting on a junior school production (Y1-4) in term four.
