Get your imagination fired up, it's time to become an author.

The talent and imagination of Merrin students is amazing and now they have the opportunity to showcase this with the BAT Cave book writing competition.   Starting now and running for 5 weeks, they have the chance to write their masterpiece.  

Prizes will be given and more importantly the chance to be published.  I aim to have a shelf of published Merrin authors that can be borrowed by other students.  

They are not limited to chapter books - don't forget there are graphic novels, picture books, cookbooks, diaries ect.  So get your thinking caps on Merrin Stars and please encourage them at home.  I am excited to see the finished products!
