Kia ora, my name is Geoff Wallis and I am one of the new teachers at Merrin this year.

Hi, My name is Geoff Wallis and I am working in the Year 5/6 area at Merrin School.

I grew up in the North Island and trained in Palmerston North before moving to Christchurch to begin my teaching career in 2003. I am early childhood and primary trained and have worked for Kidsfirst Kindergartens as a Head Teacher for many years. Over the last few years I have enjoyed working in Primary Schools  and widening my knowledge in the education sector. 

I am super excited to have joined the Merrin team and I want to say thank you to everyone for making me feel so welcome.

My wife Emma and I have three awesome children who are 7, 6 and 3 years old. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, playing sport, going to church and also renovating our home.
