To our speech finalists this past Friday. You all spoke well and deserved your spots in the final.

Literacy

This term there is a focus on procedural and explanation writing using Science as a driver for writing. What this means is that we will be conducting science experiments or demonstrations to motivate our writers. Every Monday morning we will be conducting an experiment or demonstration and discussing key vocabulary. From Tuesday to Friday, all students will be writing the procedure and explanation for this experiment or demonstration.

Mathematics and Statistics

This coming week we will be conducting assessment for all students to check  progress and learning gaps. From our current data it is evident that all of our students need to work towards knowing all of their basic facts for multiplication. With your support we would appreciate it if you spent some time learning these at home so that your child/children can continue to make progress.
