Cantamath Practices for 2016 have commenced. AKA Merrin School's attempt to dominate the world of Mathematics :))

The practices for 2016 have begun! This year we have 2 able Year 8 teams, 1 Year 7 team and a Year 6 team of able mathematicians.

Assisted by past pupils (Eric, Campbell, Anna, Tony) other teachers (Mr Russell, Mrs Lennon) from Westburn and St Michaels (and their teams) we have created a raucous environment that closely resembles the actual conditions the teams will encounter in the competition.

Obviously, there is only one Year 7 and one Year 8 team allowed to enter - so competition for the places is intense. Mr Barr is certain (like every year) that we are going to win!!!!
