Building works update
Work will begin again on our school, the day after school closes.
Before Christmas, the administration block will have 'weather tightness' work carried out to the glass entrance area and skylights. There will also be more 'tree work' completed.
Currently, we are engaging a Landscape Architect to master plan our completed site. Alongside our students, we would like you to be involved with this project and look forward to this work happening in the new year.
Depending on the results of current building testing, Block 8 (the old ESOL room) may be demolished during the January break. If this does take place during the holidays I will email families to let you know.
The large projects begin in February, which we are very excited about. To top the excitement list is the gifting of our school name and building names by Ngai Tahu. I look forward to inviting you to this special occasion early next year.
Finally, the sound and lighting engineers are onboard to ensure that our new hall has contemporary facilities.
Behind the scenes it is all go. Exciting!
