My Merrin Memories

Year 5/6 Highlights

In year 5 (2020) we did a production called Time Lord, and I acted the part of a hopeless poor little child who did a choreographed dance to the ABBA song Bohemian Rhapsody song by queen. My teacher was Miss Wilson but sadly she left halfway through the year of 2021 but we got two new teachers called Miss Rooney and Miss Stewart. I started Kapa Haka in year 5.

Year 7/8 Highlights

In 2022 we had a fun day at Orton Bradley Park. We did abseiling, mountain biking, rock climbing and more. We also went to Sumner Beach and took surfing lessons. In year 8 we went on year ⅞ camp at Living Springs. We did a bunch of activities such as mini golf, team work activities, went on a monorail, tree climbing and more. Some of the year 7/8 ‘s went ice skating because we missed skiing due to the hot weather.

My Heroes

Miss Wilson was the best teacher ever. She really understood people and helped them through tough times really well.

My mum and dad have been great role models and examples by helping me to understand how other people think and how to do well in my future. They have also taught me about what is good for me and restrictions in place in some areas to protect me from harmful things.

My Jams

I like NF (Nathan Feuerstein) because he expresses himself really well through music. My favourite songs are CAREFUL MAMA AND HOPE because I like the message behind them and also that he cares so much for his mum.

My Ultimate Future Self

In 5 years, I would like to be a highly successful musician (pianist). I would also like to become a mechanical engineer because I love working on cars and other parts.

In 10 years, I would like to be a highly successful rapper and hopefully have uploaded some songs.

In 50 years, I would like to be a successful prophet because I believe that that is what I have been called to do. I also want to be a kind and loving dad with lovely kids and a lovely wife.

My Favourite Quote

I am the way, the truth and the life.

I like that verse because it represents my religion. I also like the message behind it and what it has done to my life and how I have acted because of what it has done.

My Wrap Up...

I would like to be remembered at Merrin School for being in the Epro8 team in 2020, because I think it represents me as a person and shows my talent and what I can do if I put my mind to it. I also want to be remembered for taking part in the things that I have taken part in such as Road Patrol, Kapa Haka, Wet Day Monitors, Reading Fairies, Rock Band, Chorale, Choir and Epro8 for the last 4 years at Merrin School.
