In Rooms 3 and 4 we have been learning about time!

Do you know how long a minute is if you have to sit and wait! We experimented. The idea was that you stood up when you thought a minute had passed. Some children stood up after 25 seconds and the longest time was 1 minute and 32 seconds! 

We have ordered the days of the week in English and Te Reo Māori while making a chain. While celebrating National Sign Language Week, we attempted to use NZSL for the days of the week - quite tricky! 

We have attempted to make a class sized clock and then used children as the hands to make different times! What fun!
