Mia and Makayla, from Tuakana Whetū took on the role of designing and creating this year's leavers hoodies... check them out!

This year we decided to create the Year 8 leavers hoodies. 

We wanted to give the Year 8s a memory of Merrin School before they leave for high school. Since we wanted this years hoodies to be a little different to last year, we added our own little touch.

The whole process took 2 terms. We first sketched our design, gathered student voice, contacted Mainland Uniforms for a quote, and sent home notices.

We hope this continues as a tradition at Merrin School as we have really enjoyed the process of designing them and the year 8s love them!
