Tick Tock Time

Room 1 and 3 are learning about 'Time' during Mathematics.

To start our work on 'Time' we talked about sequencing events within a day and then naming and ordering the days of the week. In our second week we learnt about o'clock and half past times.

These children drew pictures to show the sequence of their day.

Jaecob drew himself getting up in the morning.

We invited Room 2 to visit so that we could share our work with a friend.

We took our 'Days of the Week' paper chains home to share our learning with our families.

Lukas is joining together all the days of the week in English and Maori.

Venus drew pictures to show what happens first in her day and what happens last.

We had fun with our 'Time on a line' activity. Room 1 sequenced events which occur in a school day. Everyone drew a picture to share.

Next we used the clocks to make o'clock and half times.
