Burnside Cricket Club

Year 1 and 2 have had the opportunity over the last 4 weeks to learn new cricket skills, with the Burnside Cricket Club. This has been a challenging experience that we have had to apply perseverance and a 'give it a go' attitude to. Coordination of bat, ball and a target is a challenge. 

We challenge you as parents to go out and play some bat and ball games with your children at home. Throwing, catching and ball skills are all related to gross and fine motor skills that support a child's learning. You could maybe join the local Burnside Cricket Club or another sports club.
