The junior Kapa Haka have been participating in learning waiata and actions.

This term our junior students have been taking part in Kapa Haka. The children have enjoyed learning the actions for 'Mahunga Pakihiwi,' which is the kids action song 'Head, shoulders, knees, and toes.'  It has been a great opportunity for the tamariki to continue to learn te reo and practice gross motor skills through movement. We have also started rehearsing different waiata to share with our Merrin School whānau in Term 4.
