It was fantastic to welcome our new staff, tamariki and whānau at our Mihi Whakatau this week!

On Monday the 12th of February we had our first Mihi Whakatau where we welcomed our new kaiako (teachers), ākonga (students), and their whānau (family). This was a great morning where we displayed what Ngā Whetū Kohara Merrin School is all about. We are a kura that prides ourselves on Whanaungatanga and creating an environment where everyone feels warm and a sense of belonging. 

To our new whānau, we are so thrilled to have you with us here at Ngā Whetū Kohara Merrin School and cannot wait to get to know you!
