The annual Christchurch City 2 Surf run will take place on Sunday 20th March - lets all get moving! 

This event will take place on Sunday 20th March with two events available:
*  A 14km run/walk  - 9am start, Centennial Park, Pioneer Stadium
*  A 6km run/walk - 10am start, Hansens Park
Both events finish at the Ferrymead Playing Fields.

We would encourage the children to run or walk the 6km course (along with their parents of course!)

Merrin School is please to be able to offer our school community a very special entry price of $15 to this event (normally the entry fee would be $20). From the $15 entry, $10 will go towards the entry fee and $5 will be donated back to the school.  A great chance to get fit and make money for the school.

The entry fee includes:  a certificate & refreshment on the finish line, live music, free children’s entertainment, free entry into Ferrymead Heritage Park on Sunday 20th March and your chance to win major and spot prizes!

Show your interest by registering in the office before Friday 4th March.  This event will only  be organised and supported by the school, if we get a sufficient interest from students.  No payment  is required, until after the decision is made on the level of interest.
