Well done to our cultural dance girls who went down to Mrs Kearneys new school in Ashburton and also thank you to the parents who support the occasion.

Literacy

The writing programme continues to operate in Mahuta using Science to encourage the writing of procedural and explanation writing. The children are making progress in this genre of text.

Mathematics and Statistics

After analysing the assessment from earlier in the term, it is evident that there is progress being made in a variety of areas. Some students have been regrouped due to learning needs.
