Busy weeks ahead... 

Good afternoon Parents, Caregivers and Whānau,

We have just been informed that Otakaro Whānau group will be on Seven Sharp this evening on channel 1 at 7pm. This is a segment about the Food For Thought Programme we participated in last week. 

Jubilee 

This Friday, Merrin School celebrates it's 50th Year Jubilee. Please note that children will be finishing school 15 minutes late. 

1.30 - 3.15pm : Welcome, 50th Celebration Cake, tree planting and school tour (all school involved)

3.30 - 6.30pm : Conversazione (drinks and nibbles) Adults only. $30 per person. Please contact the office for more information.

Athletics Afternoon 

Next Friday 4th November the Year 4 team will be participating in Athletics. This is an afternoon where students will participate in 4 different events - Long Jump, High Jump, Discuss and Shot Put. The Athletics will run from 12:45 - 3:00pm.  Even though it is Mufti Day students will need to wear their Merrin sports uniform for this event.

Next week all three of us will be on CRT - Wayne Eddy will be in for the three days to cover this:

Art Gallery (Room 17) 

Room 17 is visiting the Art Gallery on Tuesday morning at 9:30am.  We have enough parent helpers for this event.

Tech Challenge

Please see the attached file with the information about the upcoming Scitech Challenge taking place on the 16th of November at 5:00 - 6:30pm. If you are interested, the slips need to be returned by the 9th of November with $5 cash.
