I currently teach in Room 1 with a wonderful group of Year 1 children. I love their enthusiasm for life and their joy in learning new things. How great are their giggles! As part of my job I am given time to visit our local kindergartens and pre-schools. I enjoy meeting their young ones as well as working with the local staff members and meeting new parents. We are currently working on ‘A Positive Start’ programme which is designed to look at ways that we can improve transitioning our tamariki to school life.

In my spare time I enjoy visiting galleries, entertaining, travelling, music and spending precious time with family.

Merrin is a great place to work…I love it so much I married one of the gorgeous teachers!
