Pūtahi Communication and dates for Week 2 Term 2

Jeni Bargh —

We are very excited to welcome Miss Katrina Setacci to our Pūtahi Family! Katrina is rejoining us as the teacher for the Room 3 tamariki. While her class numbers are low, Katrina and Jeni are team teaching in Room 1. Please come and introduce yourself!

Mother's Day Cafe: We are looking forward to looking after our Mums on Friday 12! If you are unavailable to attend our cafe the children are very welcome to invite a Grandmother, Aunty or special lady in their life! So that we have room for all our visitors, could children please invite only one adult. Hopefully all Mums have recieved an invitation from their child!

Dance: Our Arts focus this term is Dance. The children will be having weekly dance lessons with their class teacher every Wednesday afternoon. We are planning on sharing our dance work with you early next term, at an early evening show for families.

Slippers: Children are welcome to bring along slippers this term. We are encouraging children to take off their shoes before coming inside.

Tissues: Please could all families send along a box of tissues for general class use.

Friday 5 : Mihi whakatau: Welcome assembly for the new children and their whanau. This starts at 10.10 ( please note change of time)

Dates for Week 2:

Please note that PMP is our focus for Physical Education this term. For this reason, children will not require their Thursday sports clothes.
