One of the Year 1&2's favourite times of the week is Discovery. This has looked a little different over the last couple of weeks by being based in individual classrooms or across collaborative pairs.

Discovery is a time for children to collaborate and work together in order to build upon the Key Competencies that are in the New Zealand Curriculum. The children learn to manage themselves, relate to others, participate, contribute and use a variety of thinking skills in a fun play-based way.
