Next week is a short week with Labour Day on Monday. Enjoy the opportunity to have a long weekend. 

School Hats

It is compulsory in Term 4 to wear a sunhat. There are still a few children who do not have one. Please ensure you get one over the weekend so your child does not miss out on play times. Children who do not have a hat have to sit under the umbrellas during lunch and play times.

Art Gallery Trip

On Tuesday 25th October Rooms 18 (am) and 19 (pm) will be traveling to the Art Gallery. We have enough parent helpers for this. Please ensure your child is in the correct school uniform (including school shoes) and has a full lunch box and drink bottle.

In Week 4, Tuesday 1st November,  Room 17 (am) will be going to the Art Gallery. 

Sausage Sizzle - next Thursday

Merrin School Jubilee Celebrations: Next Friday Merrin School celebrates it's 50th year Jubilee. 

1.30 - 3.30pm : Welcome, 50th Celebration cake, tree planting and school tour (all school involved)

3.30 - 6.30pm : Conversazione (drinks and nibbles) Adults only. $30 per person. Please contact the office for more information.

It seems a long way away, but we will be needing some parent help for our Beach Education day in Week 9. If you are able to help out it would be appreciated if you to put this in your diary now. A notice will come out later in the term for this.
