This year the 40 Hour Famine will take place over the weekend of the 1st-3rd of July.

Students are raising money to help provide clean water in struggling countries all over the world. There are lots of different challenges students can do over that weekend for them to experience some of the struggles other people have when gathering water. 

For example: walking, running or biking 40km in 40 hours, or only using 40 litres of water for 40 hours (making sure they set aside drinking water). Students may also want to come up with their own challenges to do over the weekend. 

Students can sign up at school or at home as long as they put down Merrin School as their team. Fundraising and donations can also be done online.

We have a massive school goal this year of $1100 and it would be really awesome to get as many students in years 5-8 involved as possible. Visit this link to sign up and get involved!
