On Friday 27th February, the Merrin School PTA held its summer picnic in the grounds at the back of the school. The weather was beautiful and many International families took the opportunity of meeting under the trees to have their picnic tea. 

It was great to see the many different nationalities, that make up Merrin School, mixing so freely together. It is hoped that the international families will continue to support our PTA group, both by continuing to attend the PTA events organised by our PTA, and by attending the meetings of the PTA. It is important, with the multi-cultural composition of Merrin School, that our different ethnic groups feel they have a voice in how our school is run.
