Reflection: I had lots of funny moments at Merrin such as the time we went to camp and ate lollies.
In 2009 I started school as a quiet 5 year old. When I became a year 6 school started to become very fun. I started playing Football for Winter Sports and the trip to Spencer Park was really fun.
In year 6, I went on my first school camp to Blue Skies. I still vividly remember a lot of details. I was in cabin 11 with my friends, we were the ones who stayed up really late eating lollies when the teachers weren´t looking. I also remember going to a cemetery. It was really weird because I thought it was meant to be fun but then I realized we were looking at dead peoples' graves. But overall it was really fun.
At the start of Year 7 I was a bit nervous walking into a new class. I also didn't have many friends that year because most of my friends from year 6 all went to Cobham Intermediate. But at Year 8 a lot of my Year 5 friends from 2015 came into year 7.
I'm still working towards the standard in math but I'm almost there. I really enjoyed the surfing activity that we did earlier this year and I’m very excited about Star Week. I have been here at Merrin and its going to be very different going to high school but I hope its going to be as good as Merrin.
Overall I have had a pretty good time at Merrin School.
