It was with great excitement that the Year 1 & 2 tamariki welcomed the fire officers from Harewood Fire Station.

Our Year 1 & 2 classes have been enjoying the Get Firewise programme. This programme gives children the knowledge and behaviour they need to stay fire safe and escape from a burning building. The children have enjoyed having the take-home books to share with their whānau. The fire officers from Harewood came to show the children the specialised equipment they use as well as allowing the children to sit in their fire engine. Our thanks go to Ross, Paul, Graham and Paul.
