Thank you so much to the small group of parents and board members who attended Monday night's presentation to hear the ideas behind our school name.

A big thank you to all of the teaching staff who attended and to Whaea Dianne Robinson who presented to us the meaning and ideas behind our school name.  We were also excited to hear  the gifted names for our buildings.

We are delighted with 'Ngā Whetū Kohara' (The Shining Stars), which consolidates our vision and mahi from the past six years.  Our beautiful logo will continue and it will be a board decision as to how and when our Te Reo name is used.

We look forward to letting you know more about our names and their meanings over the coming months.
