On the last Tuesday of term, a group of speedy runners headed over to the other side of town to race!

Off we went on the bus over to Hillview Christian School to join in with 16 other groups of Year 1&2's to run 700 metres, over grass, stones and hay bales!

We are very proud of the way our children behaved and tried their best while competing against almost 50 others in each race. It was lovely to see their smiles as they finished their race.

We also had 2 top 5 runners! Amber McGregor came 2nd in the Year 0/1 Girls and Lainey-Rose Coots came 3rd in the Year 2 Girls. Congratulations to all of our runners who represented Merrin School.
