Geoff Wallis —

We have had a fantastic week on camp at Blue Skies. It was AWESOME!!

Hi Everyone,

This week, we have had a great time being on camp at Blue Skies. For many of us, this was our first time being away from our families for a few days. The children did extremely well and we had lots of positive comments from the Blue Skies staff, saying the children were really well behaved and it was a well-run camp.

During camp, we did a range of activities which included: a challenge course, orienteering, an initiative course, Capture the Flag, a rope swing, the flying fox, a scavenger hunt, sleeping in bunk beds, eating great food, playing cricket/football/touch, tug of war, reading books, visiting a cemetery, going swimming, and a whole lot more.

We were really impressed by how many parents came to see the camp concert on Wednesday night. This was a highlight for many of us and it was great seeing the children show courage and perform their items in front of their peers and family members.

On the last day, we presented some awards to students who showed outstanding effort during the camp. Congratulations to those who received a special mention. To the rest of the students - you were also amazing!

A big thank you to all the parents who helped out in some way, but a special thank you to those who were able to stay the whole time. We couldn't have done it without you!

We hope you all have a relaxing weekend and we look forward to seeing you on Monday.
