"Bugs under the microscope !"
An exciting new opportunity is opening up for our learners out in the playground, one that combines big fun with rich learning opportunities...
Each week on Wednesdays, our Teaching Assistant Robinne will be setting up a science table out by the sandpit. This will be a cool opportunity for everyone to bring their interesting 'finds' over to her so they can put them under her powerful microscope and discuss what's going on.
All of the gold in learning is in the quality of the talk. So when our inquiring young minds get to examine their 6-legged treasures with her, we can be sure there will be learning a-plenty.
Robinne has a lot of experience with discovery learning out in the wild, especially centred around bugs and nature. It is one of her passions.
We are looking forward to our learners enjoying a chance to tap into the depth of Robinne's knowledge and passion: she has a Masters in Science majoring in Entomology from The Pennsylvania State University.
So remember: it's "Bugday Wednesday."
