Merrin Memories - Elisapeta

My Merrin Memories

For 8 years of my life at Merrin school was one of the best 8 years. My life wouldn't be any happier without my teachers and friends. My teachers all through these years were, Whaea Belinda, who was my hyper year 2 teacher who had cool red/rainbow hair, Mrs Carter who was my soft-hearted teacher in year 3, Mr Russel who was my loud kinda angry teacher, who liked talking about France in year ⅚ but most likely my year ⅚ favourite teacher was Mrs.Vickers who had love asking me for big blocks of chocolate when I do something wrong. But my 8 years at Merrin weren't about my teachers, they were most likely about the fun memories I had, like how I stupidly pulled my friend's skirt down as we were in year 1, then in year 2 I didn't even know my additions that were for year ones who could do divisions. But no year could compare to year 3 when I had the fattest crush on a boy called Frank, it got worse as he was leaving, but I didn't care because he kinda rejected me. Oh well. Apart from that, I hated all those years except for year 7, If I could tell you that year 7 was the best year of my life because I became the values leader that I always wanted to be which is Manaakitanga, then I skipped lots of school work, I got to do fun things like going around giving prizes to the children, leading assembly, giving good instructions, and making fun activities for those who are board during break times but also the Adventure. If only I could break the time machine to look back at those fun/sad memories.

My Heroes

My 3 heroes are Jesus Christ and my parents because if it weren't for Jesus and my parents I don't even think that I would love school so much. Jesus and my parents were the only ones who cared about my education and my future. They were even there to wipe my tears away and tell me to keep on focusing on school to reach my goals for the next couple of years in high school. My mum is one of my biggest heroes because she knows that now her little girl has grown up which means she will be managing to dress and walk to school early by herself. My dad is my other hero, who makes me laugh, and buys me Mcdonalds, and lollies after school. But mostly my dad is my hero because he's a teddy bear where I hug him when I'm sometimes at my lowest.

My Jams

My top 2 Jams are I Smile by Kirk Franklin and Sweetest Girl/Dollar Bill by Akon Lil/Wayne. Those are my top jams because the song “I Smile” is a gospel song that vibrates with my attitude every morning when I ain’t feeling it, and the song “ Sweetest Girl” is my other favourite song because it just has good beats.

My Ultimate Future Self

In 5 years I would be doing exams and studying for my last year in high school and mostly Rugby/Netball. In 10 years I will be 23 playing my future sport which is Rugby league and repaying my parents with all the money I earn. In 50 years I would most likely retire from my job and probably be in a stinky retirement home.

My Favourite Quote

“I'm not saying girls are perfect, because we all know that's not true, but why be unfaithful to her if she were true to you” By Tupac Shakur

My Wrap Up...

I would like to be remembered at Merrin School by showing all my respect to those little ones who are now looking up to me. I would also like to be remembered to give the little ones feedback on why they should be great at being a values leader like me so that when I visit Merrin school again they'll be the next me.
