Sue performed well in the recent inter-regional cross country competition held in Blenheim.

I came 11th out of 48 runners from Canterbury, Nelson, Marlborough, Wellington, Tasman and South Canterbury.

I got a medal for finishing and a bronze medal for my team of four. 

I got a bad start so I was at the back. Some runners did a false start. In the whole race I passed 37 people. The track was muddy, uphill and a single person track, so it was very difficult to pass the other runners. 

After the race we went swimming and then had an awards dinner. 

The next morning we ran through Blenheim in crazy costumes. 

I really enjoyed the experience.
